A Message from Debbie: Change, Growth, and Gratitude

Leap

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 35+ years in the business world, the only thing constant is change. And right now, I’m facing one of the most significant changes in my career: I no longer own Alaris.

Many people have asked how I feel about that. Not gonna lie; I’ve had my moments. When you’ve owned a company for as long as I have, it’s hard to imagine not owning it. But growing Alaris has been my passion since day one. And now, we have an incredible opportunity to do that.

Several people have asked if I will be retiring, and I want to assure everyone that I am not riding off into the sunset.  I have nurtured this company for too long to simply walk away, and I am passionate about taking it to the next level. I will remain the active leader of the company as President of the Alaris Business Unit of Lexitas, directing staff and developing strategy while enhancing our commitment to customer service excellence.

As part of Lexitas, no other court reporting firm will have the range of services we can now offer. Lexitas shares our vision and our values, our commitment to quality, and they place the same high priority on customer service as we do. Both companies are committed to investing in our people, creating strong relationships, and providing an outstanding client experience.

Over time, I’ve gotten to know Lexitas—as a company and as individuals. Every interaction reinforces that they are the right partner to accelerate Alaris’ growth, and I couldn’t be more excited to lead Alaris through this new chapter in the company’s history.

So when I think of all the possibilities I’ve explored for Alaris’ growth over the past several years, I can’t think of a better scenario than where we are today. Yes, change can be unsettling. But growth doesn’t happen in our comfort zone. It happens when we boldly step out, step up, and step into the new opportunities that come our way. And when we do that together with really awesome and talented people, the sky is the limit on what we can accomplish.

I know for sure that we wouldn’t be where we are today without YOU—our clients and our team—because you are the heart of our company.

To our clients: you are the reason we exist, and I am immensely grateful for your faithful partnership. Thank you for allowing us to serve you and grow with you. Your support and loyalty mean a lot to our organization and to me personally. I appreciate the confidence you have in us, and we will do everything possible to continue earning your business and trust in the years ahead, I promise you that.

To the Alaris team: you rock! You all should be exceptionally proud of the company we have built together. This kind of success does not just happen. It takes hard work and commitment to create something extraordinary. I am confident that there will be many more accomplishments ahead of us. I care deeply about the legacy of Alaris, and I am pleased to have the opportunity to carry it forward—not only as the leader of the Alaris Business Unit, but as a team member with all of you.

Finally, even though I no longer own Alaris, my commitment to diversity and inclusion does not change. You know this is a passion for me. I will continue to support growth opportunities for everyone on our team and I remain committed to supplier diversity to ensure that we continue to support women-and minority-owned businesses.

I love what I do, and I am incredibly excited about the future of Alaris!

Please do not hesitate to email or call me with any questions. I am here for you.
